Just as in previous years, KaDy/Students ended their European student championship tournament with a narrow victory. Futsal Panthers from Cologne, Germany, turned out a fit and physical opponent who managed to create goal-scoring chances both with possessive ball control and counter-attack, but the Jyväskyläns' superior tactical skill and mental strength were just enough to guarantee them a fourth victory and a third clean sheet out of five games in total.

The sole goal of this final for positions 9-10 was scored onto the far right upper corner of the net on the 15th minute by 'Kimble' Tolvanenfrom 'Madnes' Juvonen's precise penetrative pass. Goalkeeper 'Enrico' Hytönen kept a clean sheet for the third time this week with the selfless help of sacrificial Dynamo defense. More than others, 'Kajuk' Kytölä was the opportunity waster as he managed to create a handful of brilliant chances, missing the goal each time. The unluckiest of these was, on the last minutes of the second half, a 6-metre penalty which hit the crossbar with considerable force and caused an extremely frightening counter-attack to the other end.

Thus the EUSA tournament 2012 followed more or less the same formula for KaDy/Students as the previous years: reaching top four was each time totally in our hands but narrow margins were decisive to eliminate us from the top tier. And each time around Kady/Students managed to leave behind them a great number of sides from countries traditionally considered superior to Finland in futsal (such as France or Serbia).

KaDy/Students are enjoying their last day under the southern sun (including women's and men's futsal finals), as their airport bus will leave Cordoba at 01:10 at night (Spanish time). A morning flight from Malaga will carry most of the Jyväskylän side to Tampere airport, whilst some brave warriors will still independently continue to explore the Spanish wonders. Upon landing to home soil, KaDy will begin a two-week recovery hiatus, after which preparation for the domestic futsal season is scheduled to begin.
